OFF-GRID
Off-Grid solar is either an energy system that is not connected to the main electricity grid or a grid-connected system that is able to operate even during blackout thanks to its energy storage. SURIA offers 2 types of Off-Grid solar:
Type 01 : Micro Off-Grid
SOLAR HYBRID MICRO OFF-GRID
This system allows you to store your solar power in batteries for use when the power grid is down or if you are not on the grid. Remote villages, mines and plantation benefit from solar hybrid micro off-grid since laying electricity cable from nearby grid is financially not visible.
During the day sun shines and charges the batteries as well as supplies power to your place. During evening or on rainny days, when the sun isn’t shining, you use the power stored in the batteries. In case of prolonged cloudy days, the diesel generator acts as the final backup. If the option available, the diesel genset is swapped with mini hydro for 100% sustainable renewable energy.

Type 02: Off-Grid Streetlight
OFF-GRID SOLAR-POWERED LED STREET LIGHT
Lighting up the streets of rural and remote areas has always been difficult due to the cabling cost that entails. With the solar-powered LED street light, you no longer need to worry about the cabling works and its financial cost.
For every 4 hours of charging, the batteries stores enough energy to switch on the light continuously for 6 hours. Using motion sensors to control the on/ off may extend the lighting time up to 12 hours!
